GUIDANCE

At Dog WAGS we have an eclectic approach to dog guidance. We have read widely, and subscribe in part to the teachings of Cesar Millan, Bruce Fogle, and Stanley Coren, among others.

We draw on different methods, but there are a few tenets which we live by:

• Exercising a dog will do more than just training alone

• We use only nonviolent corrective measures, as corporal punishment is not an effective measure, and causes more harm than good

• Every dog deserves and should have affection; this being said, aptly timed affection will ultimately be better for a dog’s well-being
